TENS treatment

What is it and is it for us?

Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) therapy uses low-voltage electrical currents to relieve pain and accelerate healing in dogs. It's beneficial for dogs suffering from chronic pain, arthritis, post-operative discomfort, or muscle injuries. TENS therapy helps reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and boost overall mobility. This non-invasive treatment is suitable for dogs of all ages and sizes, providing a soothing and effective pain management solution.

Important Info: Due to the limitations of electrodes, the TENS treatment can only work on shaved dogs, because the electrical stimulation is insulated by the fur even with a carrier material. So the treatment requires the dog to be clipped on the spot with the consent of the owner in the area to be treated.
