Welcome to Happy Dog Therapy! I am proud to introduce you to the wonders of canine physiotherapy, fitness and bodywork , approaches that make you win extra years with your dog! My mission is to provide the highest standard of care, attention, and science backed knowledge for our canine companions, treating them like the royal family members they truly are. This is the level of care I expect as well when someone, for example, a vet, treats my dogs. For me, being an average professional or offering a mediocre service is not an option. I love seeing my doggy clients have fun during the sessions and when leaving, they are happy, move better, feel better and more playful. Physiotherapy, fitness, and massage are not just luxuries; they are intentional steps toward improving joint and fascia mobility, muscle tone, boost strength, boost oxygen flow, detox their bodies from the toxins they encounter in their everyday life (like cleaning materials and exhaust gases), boost the production of the happiness hormones and improves overall quality of life.
I’m a certified canine physiotherapist and a certified practitioner in animal fascial
manipulation by the Fascial Manipulation Institute by Stecco®. I’m also a proud member of
the Hungarian Small Animal Physiotherapy Association and I regularly attend workshops,
conferences, training courses, and webinars to ensure my knowledge stays current,
evidence-based, and rooted in modern veterinary science.
I only accept and practice fear-free, science-backed methods built on trust, patience, and
deep respect for dogs. For more complex cases—such as traumatized dogs—I consult with
Vanda Törő (ISCP Dipl. in Canine Behaviour, Fear Free Shelter Graduate, IAABC
Supporting Member), who helps me in creating a calm, welcoming approach for “special
needs” dogs.
Whether you’re seeking fun and fitness for your dog, pre- or post-operative rehabilitation,
conditioning for the competition season, or a solid physical foundation for a puppy’s active
life and minimizing the risk of injury, I’m here to ensure your dog receives the best possible
care.
As the caregiver of two senior dogs, a senior horse, and a pony, I understand firsthand how
important is their quality of life, mobility, independence and joy. My journey into alternative
therapies began with Sonia, my little furkid, found abandoned on a highway. We slowed
down, opened the car door and she jumped into my life. She’s had several joint diseases
and deformities, and keeping her strong and pain-free through a multimodal approach
became a mission. I dove into research and education so I could give her the long, happy
retirement she deserves.
I’m especially passionate about raising awareness for the well-being of elderly dogs,
because aging isn’t a disease, it’s a chapter of life that can be filled with joy, curiosity, and
adventure.
Senior dogs are my favorite clients: restoring mobility, reducing pain, and helping them enjoy
their golden years is a privilege I never take for granted.

Why is physiotherapy, massage, dogfitness and fascial manipulation the Holy Grail in animal
wellbeing?
In the realm of canine health, a paradigm shift is underway. Traditional veterinary care, while
essential, often addresses symptoms rather than root causes. Enter the synergistic quartet
of physiotherapy, fitness, massage, and fascial manipulation, modalities that collectively
serve as the cornerstone for enhancing canine quality of life.
With alternative therapies you improve and boost:
● blood circulation
● lymphatic drainage
● fresh oxygen flow to the cells
● joint mobility, increased joint range of motion
● muscle strength
● relieve trigger points and decrease soreness
● stabilize the unstable joints
● proprioception (basically the "sixth sense," is the body's awareness of its position and
movement in space, which is quite poor in dog’s hind end and limb control)
● relaxation
● Fascial Manipulation INMEDIATELY reduces the pain perception
● blocks the corrupted firing of the nerve endings (so they wouldn’t signal pain where is
no injury, only radiation)
● better endurance
● better flexibility
● stopping the degenerative joint diseases' worsening (like arthrosis)
● introduce back the dog to the normal everyday life after an operation on a safe way
● minimize the risk of injuries
● better balance
● restoring normal movement patterns
● minimize the compensational damages
● correct and re-teach the compensational gaits and body postures
● decrease recovery time
● improve structure, posture and alignment - so a badly bred and unhealthy anatomy
dog can maximize the joy
● deal better with stress
● promotes the new nerve connections all over the body and brain
● decreases the risk of dementia and alzheimer
So, having all this information, when are you offering more joy and health for the furchild?
